IT Analyst

If it plugs in to something, chances are that the Yodle IT Department manages it. Responsible for the technology infrastructure that supports all Yodle employees and the thousands of Yodle customers, IT runs lean and mean, providing unique solutions that solve business challenges and enabling Yodle to keep moving forward.
 
The IT Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day management of the corporate infrastructure that spans multiple locations across the country, consisting of a mix of Windows and Linux servers, VMware hosts, NetApp storage, Cisco and HP Networking, Microsoft server apps, homegrown and third-party Linux apps.
 

Responsibilities

  • Ability to ‘take ownership’ of systems and processes
  • Serve as an escalation resource for solving tough end-user problems
  • Maintain accurate inventory documentation
  • Set up PCs, printers, peripherals, servers, and networking equipment
  • Manage Computers, users and policy in Active Directory
  • Willingness to work off-hours as necessary for time-critical projects Experience with IP Telephony (Avaya preferred)

Qualifications

  • Desire to provide excellent and efficient service
  • Solid troubleshooting skills
  • Solid understanding of server and network hardware
  • Strong skills in one of the following: Windows Server administration, Linux Server administration, and a desire to deep-dive in technologies that are unfamiliar
  • Solid skills in common Microsoft business applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Solid understanding of IP networking, firewalls, and external networking technologies
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Team player, able to work with both the onsite IT and Engineering staff, as well as a remote IT team spread across Yodle's other offices
  • A fast learner
  • Experience with the IT and facilities requirements for office relocations
  • Experience working with external networking providers a plus
  • Experience working with VMware virtualization technologies a plus
  • MCSE, RHCE, or other standard certifications a plus
